On behalf of Naresta, we have acquired a nesting box designed by Aurimas Valujavičius, who crossed the Atlantic Ocean in a rowing boat, which will become 30 drones for Ukraine.
At the first “Birds of Freedom” charity auction organized by Pakruojis Manor and “Stiprūs kartu,” we purchased, on behalf of Naresta, a birdhouse created by Aurimas Valujavičius — who rowed across the Atlantic Ocean — and donated €15,000 in support of Ukraine. This will allow to send 30 drones manufactured in Lithuania to Ukrainian soldiers.
“This year we are celebrating the 30th anniversary of Naresta and there is certainly no better gift that we can give to ourselves, each other and returning birds than a safe home. That is why we are contributing — and I warmly invite everyone to join in,” said J. Kajėnas while receiving the birdhouse at the Kaziukas Fair event.
All spring auctions will take place on a dedicated website laisvėspaukščiai.lt. You can also contribute to the “Birds of Freedom” mission by calling the short “Stiprūs Kartu” number 1409 (€5).
