Naresta, UAB, did reconstruction of the building, which was built in 1972, where previously the Institute of Geology and Geography was located. After completion of the works, the total area of the building has grown from the existing 5,186 sq. m to 6,310 sq. m, and the energy class of the building reached A+, instead of the current E, which significantly reduced operating costs. After the reconstruction, the Government leadership security department established in the building.
