Construction works on the territory of the former St. James’s Hospital complex

Construction work on the territory of the St James Hospital complex has started.

According to the cooperation agreement signed between Naresta and Orkela, an investment management company of Lords LB Asset Management, two A+ energy efficiency class 17.6 thousand sqm hotel buildings with a conference centre with a capacity of up to 500 visitors and a spacious underground car park will be erected in the historic site of Vilnius within 27 months. The existing hospital buildings will be renovated and combined to accommodate educational activities. The project, symbolically named “February 16th Complex”, is scheduled to be completed in Q4 2023.

In addition to upgrading the historic site of Vilnius, the project will also create a greener and more attractive environment for the complex, which will be accessed by paths from Lukiškių Square and Vasario 16-osios Street. On the side of A. Goštautas Street, a new urban street square, the Vienuolis Ferryman’s Square, will be created.
