Modernisation of an office building

“Naresta” has signed a contract with Turto bankas, the state company that manages and maintains state property, for the modernization of the building at 11 Vivulskio Street.

Naresta will renovate the building, which will house the Ministry of Social Security and Labour after the completion of the construction works, with an area of more than 3 000 sq. m for EUR 4.7 million.

The building will be modernised by replacing windows, insulating the façade, installing lifts and sanitary facilities for the disabled, and modernising the heating and ventilation system. The energy efficiency of the building will increase from class F to class B after modernisation. It is estimated that this will save as much as 48% on heating costs.
