Naresta became the contractor for the first stage of the conversion of A. Goštauto Quarter

Following the end of the international tender for the procurement of contract works with design announced by Turto bankas, Naresta became the contractor for the first stage of the conversion of the A. Goštauto Quarter. This stage will involve the renovation of 9,000 sq. m of five-storey buildings at A. Goštauto St. 9. The works are planned to be completed in 2026, and three ministries will be established in these buildings.

“When building structures that meet the highest international sustainability standards, as they will be located in this quarter, it is necessary to combine the mastery of the construction craft and the knowledge of innovative technologies. Our experienced team will pay special attention to the creation of spaces where it will be pleasant, safe and comfortable for decades,” says Tadas Grincevičius, CEO of Naresta.

According to him, building renovation will be implemented in accordance with the best modern practices: using extremely high quality and accuracy, ensuring the lowest possible price and shorter working deadlines, allowing to achieve BIM technology.

“We have taken a big step in developing the largest public office project in the country. During the consultation with the business community, we noticed a great interest in the project. We are pleased that the agreement has been signed and significant work will be started. These works will significantly contribute to creating not only the image of state offices but also the territory,” says Chief Executive Officer of the Turto bankas Gintaras Makšimas.

The renovated buildings at A. Goštauto Str. 11 will have an energy performance class of at least A and will be BREEAM certified. The task set for the contractor is to collaborate with the architects of Stage II of the A. Goštauto Quarter to ensure that the buildings blend in harmoniously with the overall appearance of the Quarter and that they are comfortable for the employees of the ministries that will work there.
