A new business centre of exclusive design will be built in Žvėrynas: Naresta became the general contractor of the project

Construction of a new business centre is about to start in the Žvėrynas district, which is considered to be the most prestigious place in the capital. Naresta has become the general contractor of the project, and this week signed a cooperation agreement with the project developer Baltic Lenses.
“In the unique and authentic architecture and in the natural environment that stands out from all sides, every new structure must smoothly blend into the overall atmosphere and environment of the district. The materials and facade solutions chosen for this project perfectly correspond to the style of Žvėrynas, so we believe that it will soon become an integral part of the district,” says Vaclovas Andrijauskas, Director of Baltic Lenses.
The 4-storey building, designed by the “Archartelė ir partneriai” team, will be located between Paribio and Narbuto streets, completing the silhouette of Paribio Street. The total area of the project will be 2,168 sq. m and the leasable area will be 1,592 sq. m. The project will also include 27 car parking spaces.
“Construction in historical districts always requires special attention to the environment: Surrounding heritage and nature. Our team specializes in creating harmony between historical architecture and modern solutions, so this project will become another opportunity to employ the accumulated experience,” says Arūnas Puzinas, Project and Sales Director at Naresta.
According to him, another distinctive feature of this project — one that sets a higher quality benchmark for the entire market — is the swift and professional tender process for selecting the general contractor, which resulted in the signing of a cooperation agreement.
“Today’s business and societal standards require a particular level of professionalism in ensuring transparency, fair competition and, at the same time, efficiency. Having participated in numerous construction tenders, we can say that this time the tender organised by the company “Statybos procesų valdymas”, which provides construction auditing, technical supervision, expertise and project management services, has become a model for the market in all criteria: the emphasis has been placed on the formulation of clear and fair terms and conditions, on ensuring fair and open competition, and on efficiency and speed.
These technical aspects may be less important to society, but they determine the quality of our buildings and the maturity of the entire market, so positive examples must be named and followed,” says A. Puzinas.
Construction work on the project at Paribio Street 34 is scheduled to start at the end of this year and is expected to be completed in the fourth quarter of next year.
The business centre will stand out not only with its prestigious location and nature surroundings, but also with its facade design. The architects note that the building’s facades will emphasize horizontality and the asymmetrical spatial configuration of the plot, while its finishing materials and storefront graphics will echo the lines of the nearby slope and the silhouette of Narbuto Street.
